The film follows Ham Moo-ok (Kim Yun-seok), the owner of the dumpling restaurant Pyungmanok, who fears his family line will end when his son, Ham Moon-seok (Lee Seung-gi), becomes a Buddhist monk. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when two children, Min Guk (Kim Si-woo) and Min Seon (Yoon Chae-na), claim to be his unknown grandchildren.

Meanwhile, Han Ga-yeon (Kang Han-na), Ham Moon-seok's ex-girlfriend-turned-close friend, and In Haeng (Park Soo-young), his fellow monk and disciple, play significant roles. Mrs. Bang (Kim Sung-ryung), who works at Pyungmanok, also has a romantic relationship with Ham Moo-ok.

The film first garnered attention when Lee Seung-gi revealed his shocking new look with a shaved head in 2022 KBS Drama Awards.
