Lee Seung Gi attended as Public Relations Ambassador of Korean Red Cross for Climate Crisis Resilience and as guest speaker at the 24th World Knowledge Forum held last September 12, 2023.
When asked about about accepting the role of Public Relations Ambassador, he said
"When I was offered to actually be of help and use, I gladly accepted it."
He mentioned how being part of Youth Red Cross when he was young helped him to be aware of climate issues and concerns. He also emphasized the role that individuals like himself may play in preventing climate change and recovering from its effects.
